Londoner Breaks World Record with Bingo Win

If you, like many others, have spent ages searching the web and on comparison sites such as TwoBig Ladies looking for the kind of bingo-playing website that will help you to win hundreds, even thousands, of pounds then this may come as a bit of a sickener, but bear with us…

The traditional bingo hall has been stumbling along for several years now without really recovering to the kind of level where it once was in terms of gross income and people through the doors, with many turning their attentions online and closing their doors permanently; but one man has proved that there are still massive winnings to collect if you keep visiting your local bingo hall.

One car wash owner from London visited his local Beacon Bingo venue just like any other day, and ended up taking part in their Colossus event. Not only was he the lucky winner of the competition, scooping a whopping £100,000, but he entered the Guinness Book of Records for the largest single win in a bingo game EVER!

Shaban Binaku, who has previously won prizes of £10,000 and £5,000 from the same venue, described himself in an interview when he was awarded his record-breaking certificate as “lucky” and said “it feels like I’m dreaming”, while management of the hall were thrilled for him saying “We’re delighted for Shaban, nut just for the amount he won but because he now has a World Record to his name too!”

While this proves that bingo halls still have a significant role to play in the industry, it doesn’t cover up the fact that online bingo is currently far more popular. The 24/7 availability and anytime, anywhere access is appealing to millions of players of all ages, both male and female, and the introductory offers - like those listed on Two Big Ladies - are the deal breakers which you often don’t get with typical bingo halls.
